The fridge dosnt use a lot of power but thing that heat up do, so I only usually use one thing that heats up at a time along with the fridge, and a night a light.
Somebody gave a basic rule of thumb as 1 kilowatt is usually 4 amps and thats what I go off, most site we go on are 16 amp.
The fridges ( like Combicool for example ) are about 80watts. So if uoi have a Halogen heater whcih is max 1600watts, a light of say 60watts and the fridge then you will be fine to have them on altogether. For British EHU, stay under 2200watts to be safe.
find out what size watts the site will allow per pitch and then make sure your appliances is below that and you will be fine.
if you trip the switch, the site owner will turn it back on, you may be charged and he/she defo will not be too pleased if it happens in the middle of the night, in the rain, or more than 2 times he he he
Hi we have a EHU with adaptor on one and a normal socket thing on other end bought from a camping shop, we have used it a few times with great success. However, when I phoned one camp site she asked if we had a tripout on the EHU does anyone know what she is on about have I been doing something wrong.
