decided to spend that little extra and go for the Nebraska XL. I just hope they dont charge me extra for the size when pitching. Do the poles fit inside the trolley bag with the tent or are they stored separate?

Hi Stu4668

The poles are in a separate bag to the tent - they are pretty heavy! We are considering splitting the poles into 2 so that the weight can be evened out a little. The tent itself fits snug into the trolley bag. We have put it up this weekend and it goes up fairly easily with 2 people. We couldn't peg it out though as we didn't have enough space, but we did manage to get it back in the trolley bag after!

By the way, just have a search around for a decent site that will take large tents. We are going to Wales at the end of May and have been told there's not a problem and there's no extra charge!

Caz, I have just telephoned caseys camping and reserved the Nebraska, it certainly is going to be roomy enough for 2 adults and 2 children. How long does it take you to erect yours? Are the separate poles linked together like fibreglass poles?

It took 3 of us about 35 mins to put all the poles in and up (in a confined space and first attempt!) - then you have to peg all the guys down.  When we looked at one on display the assistant said it took about 45 minutes with 2 people.  The poles are sprung together and colour coded. It was quite simple to understand the instructions. We had an advantage in that our last tent also had the same type poles and went up in almost the same manner - one of the reasons why we chose this one really.  It's certainly big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Our boys are 13 and 10 - and there's loads of space for all the bits and bobs!

Well we went last Monday and looked at both the Hartford XXl and the Nebraska XL and came away with neither. We ended up with the Nebraska XXL as we just fell in love with it. How long to put it up? Dunno until first weekend in June and we can get away, but watch this space!
