I am usually up before anybody else on site when camping (6-7am), and just love hearing all those animal noises eminating from various directions on site.

This is how we break the news to our fellow campers!

Must say as a neighbour of Poppi's, we didn't hear Gavin's snoring

But beware if going on a southern meet, we have some real ground shakers  [8D]   [8D]

Sleep during the day, and play footy at night in the beam of your headlights. See how they like it!

Great idea Mark. Another method is to leave your trombone lying around when you pitch. This tends to deter others from pitching anywhere near you.

I'm with the snorers! Maybe they should allocate a specific area of the campsite for us nasally challenged  campers?

Oh I don't know, I live with a snorer, on one campsite we were surrounded by snorers - even woke hubby up! with the noise. At least if hubby starts up I give him a good poke - he turns over and stops snoring.

I'm a snorer unfortunately! My husband however is a different subject altogether. He's so quiet, one night I thought he'd died! I had my ear on his chest listening for his heart when he said "What are you doing?" I answered "Oh sorry love, I thought you were dead"

He's only in his 30's as well!

I'm trying so hard to stop snoring-I've got a mouth thing, a wrist thing and an anti-snore pillow. These things work for the first few nights and then stop being effective.

Don't worry, my daughter's a light sleep so when we go camping she'll be nudging me to stop me!

I snored when I was pregnant, maybe I still do! I also camped with a friend who snored dreadfully though-out the night and nothing would stop them. I say live and let live. Just wouldn't want to be sujected to the snorers field of a campsite. I'll get hubby a little one man tent and the rest of us can go in the no-snorers side.
