just put up my new montana 12 and noticed that groundsheet in living area had been repaired in several places does anyone think it will cause future problems

It's unlikely to cause future problems however I would still want a replacement as you have paid for a brand spanking enw tent, not a factory second.

If it is a new one, contact the place you bought it immediately and have it replaced.

We went to a Don Valley last week to look at their display and the groundsheet in their Montana 12 had a hole in it; looks like a stiletto had gone through!

Better safe than sorry and, anyway, it should be right when you have parted with your hard-earned cash.

Hi

We've just bought a Montana 6 and I noticed that some areas on the groundsheet looked 'patched'.  However, my hubby thought this was just where they'd joined the material together so I'm interested to learn how you get on.  Keep us posted.

We have a new Monty 6 and our groundsheet is fine mully. Take it back or at least give the shop a call.It's not as if it's an argos cheapy..Let us know how you get on.

We took our Vango Diablo 600 back to the shop where we bought it from due to holes in the ground sheet and they replaced the whole tent with a nice brand new one

in some part of the montys floor there is reinforce patches for the pods to anchor too, is it them.

the repairs are inthe centre of the living area, ive phoned outdoor megastore about it who were very helpful,they say they will contact outwell and will be in touch soon
