we squeezed in a double airbed in one room, the angle of the tent meant the one nearest to the tent inner always woke up with a face full of tent inner.
The angles are sharp and at most it fits two, the double airbed squeezed out the sides, our experience of this led to buying a new tent, the diablo range are pretty much all the same, very close pitched bedrooms with room to crouch.. we have since gone for a montana 12, head height in both the main area and bedrooms.
we had a double airbed in each pod last summer and there looked room for a single cos we looked at that ourselves and have this year bought another single to go in our pod for the 2 year old.
We went camping last month for the first time in our Diablo 600, and managed to sleep in our room with a double and our daughter in hersingle ready bed no problem. We also turned the airbed around so it was loying accross istead of down and had even more room.
Me and Freya were snug in her bedroom pod at the weekend, my double and her single. Room for another single in there as well we thought! Or thats 2 doubles! Heads up at the zip door. Only feet at sloping end so we have no probs about this arrangement!

"Those are hares, not silly old rabbits. Lovely March hares!"
If you haven't bought the tent yet you might be better with the Royal Biarritz. It's almost the same as the Diablo but has an extra pole in each bedroom pod. This prevents the sagging that has been reported by Diablo owners and also means you can stand up easily which you would need if you're putting a single and a double bed in.
The Royal is cheaper too, but same high spec

I'm not a complete idiot...some bits are missing.
No I dont think you can. We have one and the floorspace in the bedrooms are big enough but the tent slopes so much that you would suffocate if you put a double and a single in there!
But, given the sewn in groundsheet I have found that the living area is ideal as an extra bedroom - store your beds in the bedroom pod during the day and bring out one of them to put in the living room at night. Its what I do and it works great
The porch is brilliant - we use it as a day tent with chairs and stuff in there - keeps the inside clean for the nighttime.
We've just come back from a week with 3 of us sleeping in one bedroom area. We had our heads at the front door end and our feet nearest the back door. Our 4 year old slept on a single airbed at the far end, me in the middle and hubby near the zip. We had no problems and neither myself or hubby are small. This also left enough room by our heads to place minor valuables, lights & portable DVD player for our son.
