Hi

Just looking for some pitching advice.

We have put up our Vango diablo 600 three times now and everytime, just above the back door the inner tent touches the outer tent?

It also touches above the front windows.

What are we doing wrong??

Have you used the ties on the inside of the f/sheet that tie the f/sheet to the inner poles?

Yes we have tied it to the poles, it just seems to be those 2 spots.

We camped in it in torrnetial rain in Scotland and it didn't drip into the tent or anything, we just had a wet patch on the inner tent.

We've camped in it twice, up in Scotland, not the best weather, even for August! and we went to Wensleydale at easter. Haven't been away as much as we would have liked to due to pregnancy and a wee baby, but now my baby is a bit older we are going to make more use of it, My toddler LOVES it and he sleeps like a dream ah fresh air.

Good luck with your first trip!

My Diablo the same, living in Scotland, it's either windy or raining just presumed it was a result of our rushing.

Need a nice day to play about with it, don't know if that will ever happen.

Hi,

Just back from Ullapool, I would recommend it by the way, in our Diablo 600.

First real outing in the D600 and I was well impressed with the finish of the tent. I did also notice the same though. The Outer touched the inner but only at the side windows, nowhere else.  The bedroom sloped roof too was a bit saggy but after pullling it about a bit and re pegging it seemed to sort itself out.

These Forums have been a total goldmine of hints and tips, a real find on the net.

I think the D600 is a fantastic tent, well worth the research and the money.

Camping is the best, off to Killin in 2 weeks !!!

You have to do a search for Broomfield Holiday park with the name of site ticked or Ullapool in the search with the place ticked...?

It's a great place, superb views and alot of hill walks if youre into it.

We camped right on the shore line of Loch Broom, best site yet!!
