Can you use them for number twos?
Yes you can, its just not very nice for the person cleaning it out.  We use ours just for an emergency in the night.  It normally lasts us all week.  We have a spare pod that we use for it, and just recently it nows goes in our Montana porch and we use the other door for entry and exit ( thats about all the Montana porch is good for ).

I thought the rule was that the person who used it for No2s got to clean it out?

It's not that bad, honestly!

It's all nicely scented and dyed blue, so you don't really see or smell anything other than a rush of bright blue (lumpy) liquid when emptying. The emptying tube is so wide that it only takes moments to empty a full tank, then you flush it away, and that's it, gone!
