We bought ours for £499 and that was with £100 off RRP. It was also only £20 more than Millets are selling the XL for and the XXL is a better tent for us. We live and learn.
we found millets quite pricey for most things,up to a couple of years ago my wife used to work there shame she does nt any more could of got good discounts never mind,i really do recommend tho doing a bit of surfing on the net before buying anything, needed some roof bars for the car halfords wanted 130 looked on the net got the same thing for £85 quite local to so could pick them up it does pay to do some homework or maybe its just that i am a bit tight!
Get the Breckenridge Deluxe, you can still get the 2005 model for around £250. 3 bedrooms massive living area and big porch (sleeps 9) absolute bargain.
hi. Have a look at the breckenridge deluxe 9 berth, its great really spacious and the best thing is you can stand up tall everywhere even in the bedroom pods which really sold it too me as didnt want to be hunched over getting dressed. Sewn in groundsheet and living area really spacious . brilliant tent. we love it. We bought it last year for £270 in camperlands.
Vango diablo 900. We are delighted with this tent for space. Three decent bedrooms, hook tags in all bedrooms and the middle of the spacious living area, useful for hanging a light over the table. Great ventilation and natural light plus a huge seperate kitchen area so the cooking smells do not linger and makes for a useful heat trap. We chose it as much for the ample living space for longer term camps as we have two kids so we could keep them occupied on rainy days. Not too bad to erect. As 1st timers took us 2 hours to put up and the result was more akin to a giant crumpled up "McDonalds burger wrapper". But a little practice and next time got it down to forty-five minutes "to dry" state and another 1/2 hour to completion. Thats without kids though. They can add on an infinitum of time!!
I've just got a Wynnster Mercury 9 Excel, that has 3 bedrooms and a good size living area. Hopefully should be being delivered tomorrow, then I'll get it set up in the garden and let you know just how good it is :) Got mine brand new on Ebay so I'd recommend having a look on there, as there's some bargains to be had.
weve got an aztec palacio 6 which is great, if I were to rpelace it though we'd go for something a little larger, a hartford XXL or vango diablo 900 I think- we like the inbuilt ground sheets
