of Vango Diablo 900.  We have upgraded from an Aztec Palacio Dome tent.  I realise its a very different tent and I have instructions with the new tent.  Is there anything I should now form your experiences? How long is it likely to put up for me and my wife.  Who holds the best erection of the tent time?

Many thanks

Dai Bach

We do have a 900 and would like to conratulate you on choice of tent.

As to your erection queries, do follow the instructions on the bag flap.

The hardest part is getting the flysheet over the top of the dome, I am about 6ft OH is 5'4" and we manage it at a run almost.

The other tip is make sure the bedroom doors are freely opening after you peg it out before locking down with the flysheet.

As to time, our first attempt took a couple of hours (just to get it up) due to the fact I didn't read the intructions.

After about five outings we now have it down to about an hour and a half to br fully setup, tent, beds and kitchen.

If you have the space, practice before you go on your first trip

We only go camping to see what we have forgotten and what we need to get for next time. If only we could remember where we put the list..................
