How quick can you put this tent up and with how many people? Its a new tent for me, I'll have my wife and two girls 2 and 5 to distract me! Can any body claim to hold the record!
------------- people who are hard to please can go and please themselves!!!
Two people, 40 minutes minimum, that`s my guess. (With practice, calm weather and no kids.) That`s including pegging out. Then another hour to set out the inside, blow up airbeds etc.
But as beginners you could quite easily take twice that long.
I think the record for the longest time taken to put up a tent (of any kind) this year without giving up and setting fire to it was five hours...and she only stopped because it got dark. (To her credit she tried, tried, tried again till she cracked it.)
Hi there, we have just been for first time and managed to set up our tent with two boys agaed 2 and 5 it took us 60 mins to set up fully with the help from our 5 year old then another 30 to set up inside with the help from a few budweisers!
Get the inner up and pinned down first then throw fly sheet over and set up inner pole for porch then peg put rest of fly sheet followed by out porch pole. HONEST, FAB TENT and fairly easy.
It takes us about an hour to pitch the tent, peg it out, fight with the flysheet, do the guyropes (I absolutely HATE having to do them!) while the kids do the airbeds and generally get in the way. It does get quicker with practice and is definitely worth it - fantastic tent!
Well worth all the effort!

------------- Oooh look - it's trying to brighten up over there!
We pitched ours last saturday with the help of two of our little darlings(read that to mean no help whatsoever). It took us roughly an hour and we are new to camping.
We have a 600. We pitched ours first time in 40 mins with just 'im indoors doing most of it , whilst I placated the dog who was a bit phased by this new home (she was used to the ol' canvas one).
Others on the same site took an hour working as a pair - their's looked brilliant - ours looked a little odd, but we knew it was not going to rain. We took about 40 mins to make it look perfect the second time - by reading the advice on this website in between times, we got the hang of it (but would not have udnerstood the advice before we had tried to pitch it).
