Hi and welcome Lisa - on the whole I would advise to stay away from the tents on Cyber-checkout..........as a complete camping nerd I have scrutinised their ads and quite often, in VERY tiny print, they give you the water proof rating ( which really should be no less than 2-3000mm) and often it is only 1000 or less. (This is a measurement used with synthetic fabrics, of the height of water that can stand on the patch of fabric until leakage occurs). They have always had very mixed reviews on here, and I always wonder what the after-sales service may be like ifyou have problems.
Stick to well known makes like Vango, Gelert, Sunncamp, Khyam, Royal, Aztec, Outwell, Wynnster, Coleman, Easycamp, (there are lots of others I am sure but me brain's gone blank) and you should be alright. It is important to get out and see some tents for real too - it can help you get a better idea of the things you need to consider in terms of layout, construction etc and to identify what the priorities are for your needs.
And as for your earlier question about site costs, these do vary quite consdierably as there is no consistent method of pricing - some places charge a basic rate for tent, car plus 2 adults, and then add extra fees foreach extra body, others do it differently, some charge less but then you find you need a suply of 20ps for the showers etc, so you need to check out what is coverd in the pitch fee too in order to get an idea of what you are getting for your money.
But don't worry - as you can see there is lots of help to be had to usher you into the fantastic world of camping!!
