I thought I was the only one who insisted on taking straighteners...friends laugh at me for it too!

Actually my luxury this year is my Tassimo machine...no more waiting for the kettle to boil instant drinks...yum

own pillow, hot water bottle and of course the wine glass - hate drinking wine from a plastic cup or beaker

daughter takes her hair straightners although she rarely finds anywhere to do it

I was going to say my haridryer and tongs, but now I realise they are in the 'essentials' category. 

I guess it would have to be my Lafuma chair.  I know it's a pain to pack into an already stuffed Focus but along with a bottle of wine and some good books .............................

Actually, it's beginning to sound pretty essential too!!!
