Hi Angee

A huge welcome to UKCS     watch out it is very addictive in here

If you do a 18  and put in the make of your tent you should find many posts about it, not knowing which model you have it would be difficult to say.

The fact it has an HH of 2000 will at least ensure it will hold up to the great British humidity

PS most campers will be away thats why its so quiet

Good luck and happy camping

Brian

I saw one of these tents up last year and the owner was very pleased. It looked great up and it had been a very windy night the night before.  At  5 and 7 the girls will enjoy the whole adventure somdont worry too much.

Angee dont be diheartened by some of the comments, the one forum I read there were more positive comments than negative, and even the most expensive tents can throw up a problem as well.

Go out enjoy and go for more

We've just bought the Nevada 8, took it away in all that rubbish weather over the bank holiday weekend!

I'm impressed, it was solid, dry and very easy to put up, and loads of room inside. Any tent can have it's problems, but overall i think this is a cracking tent at the low end of the budget. (our end!!)

Good luck, and have fun.

Burty x

Hi Angeee,

We have just got the nevada 5 berth from argos,we got it a couple of months back for £90,and we will be useing it first time ever this comming Monday.

We put it up in the garden to see if it was ok,and size wise and it is well roomy, well just us 2 it should be (i like space lol).

Regards the bedroom part,it is within the inner tent and has a divider to seperate. We put the double blow up bed in to see how much room there was and was surprised to see plenty of space,so it should be ok for your 2 little ones as well as you.

I hope you have a great time,as I say its our first camping experience, and I will post a how we got on message, fingers x'd we do lol.............

I personally have not had the Nevada but we were on a site last year with very bad thunder and lightening and I spoke to a lady there who raved over her nevada we had a look round it and it looked a craking tent for what she had paid for it.  She did not appear to have had any leaks and she was on the lower part of the field.

Good look and enjoy yourselves

Hi Angee My 12 yr old and I have just spent the BH in the forest of dean in our Neveada 5, great tent.
Saturday afternoon was a total washout but we had a great time playing games in the living area and watching the rain through the windows.
Yes there is a divider that splits the sleeping area into two it attaches with ties at the top and bottom of the tent inner.

Hi angeee, just got back yesterday from a few days with our new nevada, it was really windy on the first night but the tent was fine, I do use delta pegs tho. We had rain on the second night and again it was fine. We liked the big windows, nice to see the early morning sun coming through them . Like everyone says the sleeping area is a divider but we didn't use it. Only problem I had was when I tried it out at home I couldn't for the life of me get it back into the tent bag!
