I have to thank the person who mensioned that they had got front porch poles with their monty 6. I would never have known they should have been included as they are never seen in any promotion pics. I went to our local camping centre today and explained the problem and they went and got me a set from another bag.

I also mensioned the problem with the side porch pole pushing against the fly sheet. They gave me enough flexi poles and elastic to make a new one to the right length. (All free of charge, and I didn't even buy the tent from them!) Hopefully this will solve the problem.

hmm. got my monty from yeomans, and they charged me £12 for the poles, said they are not included, and they came in a prepacked plastic bag from outwell,

Only the 2006 model came with the porch poles.  Last year they were an optional extra.

We were told there would be no porch poles with our 2006 model. There were. So we now have a spare set.
