Hi,  this is my first time posting so please be gentle.

This may make me sound a bit thick but we are new to camping having only been once in the dreadful summer of 2004.

Anyway we are off again this week to try again but after several practice runs at pitching the tent I just don't seem to be able to get the outer tent to line up correctly over the frame.  Is there an obvious trick I'm missing or is it just practice will make perfect!!!

sorry I cant help you personally with the tent question have you tried putting the name of the tent in the  to see if it hasnt been asked before?

Just noticed you down the road from me

Hope you manage to get the flysheet sorted,  might sound daft but have you tried re-aligning the poles to match the seams?

As long as it stays up and dry    who cares

Thanks, Yeah just moved here about 18mths ago from Newcastle and love the peace and quiet.

Anyway it withstood the horendous weather in 2004 in an overflow field in Scarborough so I guess I must have done something right.

I post the outcome when I hopefully return at the weekend
