We erected out new stormproofusa georgia frame tent tonight, purchased from tentastic (£53 incl £11.99 delivery) and to be honest the quality is quite poor. A couple of the ties that fix the outer to the frame were actually stitched into the tent seams at both ends (it's unmistakable, not meant to be a loop). We've found 2 holes in the outer (looks like a staple's been removed), the welding on the poles in one place is so bad that it leaves a sharp spike which would rip the outer, there's only one guide rope per corner.... it needs sooooo many more so poor design, and the seller's sies specified are quite a bit off. It's a 3 bedroom tent and luckily I haven't purchased the air beds yet as they wouldn't fit now!

I intend to email the seller, will let you know how I get on. At the end of the day it's a cheap tent. I'm not after refunds, I won't return it because i'll instantly lose 2 lots of postage equalling £24, but I do want him to know. I'm considering a neutral feedback.

Overall they do seem to be poor quality - but they are going cheap

David - if the weather is fine - you will be ok ! If its raining - better take an umbrella for use inside the tent.

Im afraid to say, mine let the dew in, never mind rain !!!  They might be tentastic, but they are certainly not fantastic.  I suspect the positive feedbacks are from people who havent fully checked out the tent, or festival goers who just want a cheapy.

Well, that's it isn't it? Cheap. I'll get in touch with him now & point out the problems.

I don't want a retaliation negative feedback though.
