If you have a chance try putting it up in your garden or a local park first - Especially if you can do that while the weather's nice, you never know what it might be like by next weekend and trying to figure out how to put a tent up in the rain/gale is no fun!

Laugh at the mistakes, you'll learn from them. Other than that, have fun!

Sorry I can't help with specifics, I've never had a Diablo, but I'm sure someone who has will be along soon.

Hi Guys, just make sure that before you start to peg down, including the main legs, that you have one of you inside the tent to check that the zips are operating ok and that the sig isnt lifting at the bottom of the bedroom doors, this really isnt a problem so long as you take your time over the pegging down.
The other thing is try to get as flat a pitch as poss, level isnt a must but flat helps.
Have a great holiday you have got the best tent for the job.

If you do not have room in the garden to do the whole tent it could be worth just trying to do the poles on the main dome inner . This is the part that caused us the most problems the first time.

We did a trial run up the mountain and so was another camper, just so you know the idea of how to put it up.

Follow the instuctions the first time, go and buy some more pegs ( we did manage 1st time with what is included but got more for comfort - if you know what I mean !!??? )

Lay out inner tent in position wanted and start putting poles in. Lift each pole in turn (one at each end-they do recommend someone inside too to help with the lift). They are all colour coded and their slots are too. Do bedroom poles last.

As said once poles are in peg out the inner and then go inside to check the floor and the bedroom floors.

Close the zips back up, then peg out the rest of the pegs.

Next we get the porch area of fly sheet ( the bit with the windows in )put the poles in and attach the most inner one ( not the outer one!!!  )into the metal ring thing. Then pull the rest of fly sheet over the top ( one at each bedroom end- we only have 2 bedrooms one at each side ) . get fly sheet into position and attach to the ring things. Then go round and do all the ties ( we never do the very top one as we can't reach it!! ( how do you tie that one??). We did see someone who had tied all the ties before putting up the inner, but they were all in the wrong place!!

Go round and peg out and you should be done! Time to get the chairs out and have a drink!!!

Oh thanks for asking it was FAB!!!

The tent went up really well and I didn't have to beat my husbamd to death with the peg mallett, so that was a first!!!

The weather father's day weekend was SUPER, didn't even need to unpack the sleeping bags, and even had a sprinking of rain overnight to try it out aswell.

Had a great time by all - oh and I'd highly recommend "Ferry Meadows" just outside Peterborough - fab site.

Good luck with yours Ryan - I'm sure getting it up will be easy!!!
