Found this site by mistake...Really good though. Just bought the Indiana 8, dabbled in motorcaravanning for a few years camping either side of that. Gap of a couple of years because of new additions, now started again.

Great tips from lots of people especially about tarpaulin under the groundsheet never thought of that.

One myself. I thought the instructions were pretty useless for the Indiana so went online to khyam site and found video of how to do it! I will write my own now!

Looking forward to putting it up hopefully next weekend at Horam Manor...Look out for the crowds and the laughter!

Morning Broken Arrow, only been a member here a short while myself but it is quite addictive.

Only started camping last year on our own, bought a tent because we couldn't afford a caravan of our own. Borrowed my Mums or just shared it now and again. Anyway we prefer the tent there's loads more space.

Have fun with yours

Mel

Hi Broken Arrow,
We have also just got the Indiana 8 and spent the previous 2 weekends at Horam Manor. You didn't get it from the Middle Farm Camping Show did you?? Horam Manor is great and the people are nice.
I also noticed the instructions were pants and asked people on here who already have the Indy - and they sent me a simpe word document. Read it a few times but managed to lose it the morning we went away - but it went up so easy. If you get the site admin to mail me your details I can send on what I have.
As for the tent - it's a monster - didn't try to get back in the bag first weekend, gave up and lobbed it in the back of the car - but after a good wash of the groundsheet after the second weekend I managed to get it all back in the bag. I also noticed the groundsheet had a couple of patches in it - and a hole they missed - and the shop I got it from were great and are getting Khyam to send a replacement.
Enjoy the tent and Horam,
Wyn

Hi Pabell 4. Thanks for making me laugh out loud! Lobbed it in the boot! We are actually going to do Fairfields Farm at Westham now...Horam in a couple of weeks time! I thought the instructions look cack! I reckon the best bet is the video on the Khyam site! We have never had such a big tent..Bit scared really!! Still I am working tomorrow but managed to get a couple of hour off which should see me pitched and back to work in no time!! I will post how we get on!

Spike.

The Kyam videos look great. How useful to see how to erect your tent! If only they did one for awnings!!

HI Shelldean,
I have sent the instructions to your email - hope you find them useful - and don't leave them at home like I did!
Have a good afternoon everyone,
Wyn

Thanks Wyn

Recieved and will pass on to OH as he is the boss when it comes to putting the tent up!!!

Also found the video and can only say we didn't pitch it anything like that... no wonder the other people said it was 'bent' PMSL

we also got it back int eh bag first time.... lucky??...maybe. LOL

We have had practice at taking down a smaller veersion at cub camp. We learnt from camp that we you must get all the air out.. otherwise you don't stand a chance. We got the kids to roll on ours to expel the air.. It worked LOL
