Are these good?

Two of our possibilites are the Orion 6 or Pegasus 6. Having searched on here I don't think anyone has an Orion 6 but just wondered what people's views are on this make? We want the kids next to us and they are both domes with a 3+3 / 6 sleeping pod.

We've got an Orion 6. Find it fairly easy to put up, takes about an hour as against the 40 mins in the brochure. Nice big living area, SIG if you like that sort of thing, and 3 big doors so ventilation and light is good. It takes up quite a lot of space in the boot though!! I'm 6'3" and can stand up in the dome which is good.

Hi,

We've got a Wynnster Venus 5 and can't fault it for space and comfort. We also chose it for the sleeping arrangement layout. From what I've read Wynnster are up there with Coleman and Vango.

If you can afford it, have a look at the Wynnster Anglessey too. Same design but with a SIG, although Pegasus looks nice with the sun canopy.

www.outdoorgear.co.uk do the Centenary Fiesta (which is a Pegasus in disguise) for £199.99.

Have Fun

We have a Carmarthen (8 berth, 3 beds, SIG), although I don't think they do this one now, or indeed anything that looks equivalent. However we are very happy with it so far.

Just to add to the favourable comments - we have a Wynnster Mercury and before that had a Field Hotel (we gave that away to some friends who are still using it) our local retailer told us that Wynnster were the  brand he had least returns on. so no hesitation in reccomending them

have fun

The Orion, form what i can tell is the 2006 version of last year's Anglesey - which I, and quite a few others on here, have. Can't see much diference form the pics and spec - but there might be a few little changes.

I think it is a great tent, especially as at the end of last year I managed to pick mine up new for £95.

The thing about the tent I really like is the large snug SIG living area and all the doors and windows that make really good ventalation; plus a good sized porch. We actually use the living areas to sleep in, as it feels like a wigwam!

Downside is pitch inner first and, which might have changed on the Orion, that the bedroom divider can not be removed.

Build quality is excellent, with some really nice touches. Like all big domes, it takes two to errect it; not a single person tent.
