Hi,

I'm after some advice. We have had a Gelert Blue Ridge 3DT tent for some time (looking to upgrade next year) and I wondered if I need to do anything to keep up the water resistance? I know you can get re-proofing stuff for tents but am not sure if it's safe to be used on all tents or not. If it is what is the best/easiest thing to use?

I know there's a lot of knowledgeable campers on here so I thought you were the people to ask.

You can reproof canvas tents but polyester tents dont need to be reproofed. If your tent is canvas you can buy Fabsil from your local camping shop but Thomsons brick sealent is said to be the same thing but much cheaper.
