stewy , we bought the gelert utah last week and used it last weekend in all the wind and rain , we bought it because it looked easier to put up than our coleman columbia for a couple of nights away. we only paid £100 for it at e- awnigs shop, united british caravans,
anyway, the pitch we had at the weekend was very exposed and to be honest it stood up very well to the gale force winds and rain but one of the poles at the back bent at the joint but it was the back of the tent that bore the brunt of all the wind , but these were extreme conditions, other tents were blowing down around us , but ours stayed up ! the rain was horrendous and we did get a slight leak at the back but like i said , this was the way the wind was blowing and it was blowing the rain at it
overall we were impressed with this tent , very easy to put up ,took us about 20 mins from start to finish, very sturdy cos of the steal poles .it has six doors and all the poles if you wanted them all propped open,so is very versitile ,suitcase style 3in1 bag which made packing away easy, only downfall it is a bit on the heavy side because of the steel poles , .
well worth the money we paid .
