what is the differece between the 2005 and 2006 models of the montana 6 tent.
just wondered if its the colour or maybe the pole arrangement.

from what I understand... its the porch,

the 2006 has a door, so its enclosed, where as the 2005 didnt.

I havent seen a 2005, only 2006 so might be completely wrong.

we went away with friends last year who had a 2005, the main difference seems to be the addition of the side porch on the 2006 and the colour has changed a bit

The 2006 model has the enclosed porch, storage compartments inside and one full inner tent that can divided into two (rather than two seperate inners as on the 2005 model).

There were some problems with the 2005 poles, but the 2006 model has steel poles and we have had no problems this time round.

We love our Monty and wouldn't change it....well until the 2007 version comes out probably!

...and a slight change to arrangements allowing the running of electrical cables for lights etc, if you need to be that fancy.
