The Vango 700 2005 model has what we will describe as a small zip up letterbox next to the front door which is inside the porch and we have used it with no problems. for the wire, The tent also has small velcro straps up one pole onto the inside of the roof so that a wire can be safely hung for a light above the living area, of which there is a hoop for the light itself.
