Hi there- I don't know about this specific model, but Campus are a value for money range actually made by Khyam (Khyam have stopped using the Campus name this year, this will by why you can find Campus tents at bargain prices now).

They are reliable enough, and will be fine but maybe not have all the finer details you get on slightly dearer tents like Vango and Outwell. Its quite a big tent and you will need to mention its footprint size when booking a pitch, just to be on the safe side. Looking at pics i assume it goes up outer first, so it won't have a fully sewn in groundsheet throughout, and it has HH of 3000mm which is fine for UK weather! In all I think it is a good buy at that price.

I bought a Campus Oregan Deluxe a couple of years ago, its a great tent we've had wonderful holidays in it, it is huge and actually can sleep 12 as it comes with an additional sleeping compartment that can go at the front of the tent. The living area is massive we love it, especially in wet weather when the kids are stuck inside. It does take about an hour for dh and I to put it up but we dont rush. it could probably be done a bit quicker.

I bought it from ebay for £180 inc p&p (Aspinalls), it was a second and had a small tear in one of the cuffs that the poles slide into but this hasnt affected the performance of the tent at all. Im sure we will be getting lots of use from the tent for the next few years.

thought I might add as well, we've camped in some really bad weather (the Gower last year was memorable in particular), its stood up well although I have waterproofed it annually.

IVE GOT ONE- only bought it in January but have used it a couple of times so far this year!  Would not hesitate to recommend it!

  • Loads of living space (the kids have christened it Millie coz its like the Millenium Dome inside)
  • Easy to put up (with a little practise)
  • Bedrooms are a good size (take a double airbed with room to spare)

Only one problem - takes two to carry it comfortably, but if you want the space ......

-------------
If it cant be done outdoors its not worth doing!

I don't have your particular model but can comment on Campus in general. I have a Campus Super Duo and was the first tent I purchased for my family of 4. It is a 4 man tent but after a few camping trips actually felt it was too small. It is a 4 man tent and people do say always go at least 2 man up. There is nothing at all wrong with the tent and still have it. The quality I thought was excellent for the price. I think at the time I paid something like £89. It stood up to some torrential downpours and heavy winds so can well recommend the Campus range.
