hi ladybirdh your aspen is big enough to take a travel cot, heres another one for your first weekend away pick a site that is away but still near enough to get home if you forget anything
sorry i cant advise you re nightwear you are his/her mum and you will know what is best so just keep checking the baby if theyare cold add a layer if they appear to warm lose a layer mum will know best in the end
but re the ehu you have a small red zip about 6 inches long by one of the side doors on your aspen this is specifically for the ehu with the baby you may wish to consider a halgen heater(preferbly with a tip cut off switch) and they also kick out a lot light
hope you have a great time and welcome to "TEAM ASPEN"
You have to ask the site re the pitches. Say you want a tent pitch, ask them if they have them with hook up and then if you have a particularly big tent, mention what size it is and check that will be okay.
Can't help re the baby thing, we co-slept with all of ours so it would have been a vest and babygro and under our duvet for some snuggles. Lots of people wouldn't have liked that but it works for us with our babies.
hi you will have to book a pitch with ehu if you want electric and you will need a ehu lead the site do not supply the lead hope this helps the baby will need cosy toes quilted type and a hat or hooded body suit keep out of draft
------------- dont forget your password or you will have to reregister again lol
I have just bought my 6 month old baby a Vango Nitestar Baby sleeping bag. They are quite big and maybe a little too big for a 3 month old (my son was 10lb born and he still looks lost in it) but its definately worth looking into it for the future as they are very warm and thick and apparently last until age 2 - 21/2. I paid £12.99 which I think is a bargain for 2 years worth of wear.
Good luck on your first trip. Our first is on the 6th July, just for the weekend!
Hi - for a comprehensive view of all the wisdom previously shared on this forum about camping with a baby, I have done a search. Click HERE to view all the discussions.
One thing I've seen suggested elsewhere on the forum about the baby bags is to put a hair scrunchy or similar around the bag far enough up to stop the baby slipping down inside but leaving enough room obviously.
I've never used the nitestar baby myself, but they look great, I just thought I'd pass the tip on.
Thanks for the search Foggers because you found this my baby is getting a new travel cot .We only have one of the heavy metal ones at the moment but now we are getting a funky light weight one,
