Hello, me again

We are slowly getting there but with only 2 weeks to go we need to get the last few bits sorted.

We have booked an electric pitch but are debating whether or not to use it. It is going to cost an extra £50 for the lead and I am concerned about how safe they are if you have a fridge plugged in over night. (we would buy the real thing)

Also the fridge thing, if we go electric we can but a plug one in but if not what is the best option? are gas ones ok? or what about the electric cool boxes, can you charge them in your car  for a short amount of time and will they then keep cool enough till the next day?

Any good suggestions for a light. Are the rechargeable lanterns any good, again though how do you charge if  not going electric. What is the best option?  We did look at getting some solar garden lights but have been told they don't give of much light at all, is this true as they would be ideal and eco friendly.

last thing is keeping babies warm at night.  We are going to take the travel cot and since we don't use grow bags at home I was thinking of making them a sleeping bag in the shape of a baby grow bag out of fleece.  What do thoughs of you with babies do?

Thanks vey much in advance, I don't know what we would do without this site and all your good advice!

all you need to remember is that there is a certain allotted amount of power to each hook up so you can only plug so much in at one time and it is supposed to be low powered travel stuff anyway. saying that we use a fridge we bought from our local supermarket for £50 and keep it on the whole time, just plugging 1 other item in as needed, for example, lead lamp or radio.
