That's so funny!  It reminds me of when we got our new tent last year, we put it up in the back garden to check it over and the boys were so excited that they wanted to sleep out in it (well I kind of did too).  So we got the airbeds and sleeping bags in to settle down for the night, but the dog could hear us (he was in his bed inside the house) and started up a pathetic howling.  I went in and got him and put his bed in the living area so he's happy, and we settle down again. 

Next we hear the cat meowing outside the tent - he wanted in too!  So we let him in and he went in the boys sleeping pod and spend the night in there.  The kids thought this was great and asked if we couldn't take the cat camping with us as he obviously likes it.    I had to explain that he may like it in the back garden, but he wouldn't have so much fun trailing all over the country.

 Classic photo Carla....I remember years ago getting a small dome tent. Rather than make a fool of ourselves on a site we decided to put it up in my mums lounge first. It went up easily enough-- we just couldn't get it back down thanks to Smokey, my mums cat taking  up residence in it! He slept in it for about 4 hours and only the sound of a tin of tuna being opened would get him out.

My dad now leaves his big golf brolly out and he sits under it for hours at a time ( the cat not my dad !) I'm sure Smokey would just love a shot at your mini tent
