does anyone have advice on keeping flies out of your tents.

we are novices and went on our first camping weekend and had alot of unwanted guests staying with us.

any ideas on this one.

would be very much appreciated

no polar not really. but we got quiet alot of them and the kids didn't really like them.

just wondering if there was anything for getting rid of flies like there is for getting rid of mosquitoes and midges?

I surpose if you have hook up you could get a bug zapper and hang it in the tent. I am not sure if these are still going but my mum used to hang one of those yellow thingys up in every room in the house during hot summers, cant think of the name of hand just now, something like Maphoo, it was like a thin yellow piece of card with a hole in it so you could thread string through it and then hang it up. there is also the very old favorite yes you guest it the trusted " FlyPaper" sticky thing like a roll of film. You can also try Citronella candles, oil burner, and now even an electrified tennis type racket, seems the kids like these.

not tried it camping yet soon we will, citrenella candles at your doorway ???????
