Could someone tell me how many Delta pegs I would need for a Sunncamp Family Vario 4 (2005) and where to buy them from - we are in East London. Have tried PJ Camping Romford but no luck. We are off to the Longnor site in the Peak Districk next week and have read on some of the posts that you need decent pegs because it can get a bit windy there. Sorry for waffling!
Hi I bought mine from Rob's site "Delta Ground Anchors" - 10% discount for all UKCS members, but I'm sure there's a recent post on here from Rob himself saying that you can get 20% off them if you buy them from him off eBay!
As for number required, I would suggest at least enough for you main guy lines.
If you want the other type ( Steel ), then get them directly from Rob. His website is www.deltagroundanchors.co.uk. Just mention UKCS when paying and you will still get your members discount.
I got mine through Rob using the link on this site, I missed the 20% off using ebay Never mind, they came in just a few days too!!!
We'll be testing them out next week on our gazebo and tent.
I only ordered 10 ( 4 for gazebo and 6 for few of tent's guys) as that was all the money I had left till payday!!!! I'll see how many more I need when the tents up
Foggers, do you ever use wind-breaks on a beach or camp in very sandy soil ?
If so, would yo like to try some prototype Delta sand pegs ?

Delta Ground Anchors..the strongest, most secure tent pegs in the world! Nylon anchors twice as efficient as rock pegs in 'average' soil! Quality stainless pegs for tougher soil are available.
We are off to sandy conditions again in the next couple of weeks so I hope to get you some more feedback when we return.
I was in Bala this weekend and found that a couple of the plastic deltas had bent a little with the really hard ground - but saying that the blue outwell ones for my Montana were just snapping so a very respectable performance. The stainless ones on my day tent were perfect though.
We had really bad winds overnight on Saturday and we had a very exposed pitch right next to the lake - the Deltas didn't budge at all. So much so that I ordered another 16 stainless ones - thanks for the UKCS discount refund so promptly.
