Well thats either a couple of pictures hung up on tent giving the impression the back door opens or I am an numpty !

There is a clear piece of plastic on the flysheet but did not look to see if this unzips as well.     

I dont open the back during the evening though, because we need the bedroom for one of the kids. Its not as big as the other rooms, so I cant comfortably fit me and hubby in there.

I feel a bit nervous about her sleeping in a pod which has easy access to the outside world. The more I think about it, the more I am willing to sacrifice one of the  windows ( there is a window in the back door apparently on the xxl) to get all 3 kids in propper pods, or have 2 share and use the other pod as a dressing room for us all.

I would open us the back door only for ventilation, and could still put the kitchen stuff in front of it with the inner let down to waist height, like a window.

The rooflights are bigger in the xxl so it isnt darker, from my experience.

We have just got the canopy. I think I would probably take it down in very bad weather. Its not really designed to cope with gale force winds and is easy to take down.

The canopy gives us extra space if the pitch is big enough, but if it isnt,never mind. If we went for a bigger tent, eg diablo 900, we would be much more limited on site choice.
