Hi, I haven't seen one of these up but think they look like a very interesting tent. Good looking, SIG, flyfirst, alloy poles, lightweight in relation to size. I didn't look any further at them earlier in the year because there was a problem with the way the front and rear porch poles attached to the fly, which meant they weren't sufficiently stable when the door was open. Try to find out if Coleman have sorted out a fix for that in the last few months.
And let us know what you discover! MT

bought a Salt Lake from Blacks. It's basically a magellan 9, but without the alloy poles and front windows. Coleman have definately redesigned the porches n this tent - there are now long velcro ties, and also proper "knotted ties". Belts nd braces appoach, but it doesn't move in the win.d

... I was trying to find out about the Megallan aswell, I thought its design was just what i wanted, but could not find anyone local(ish) who had it and Colemans couldn't even tell me where I could find one erected... I gave up the search and settled for Outwells monatana 4, only erected that in the garden thus far.. but im very pleased with it.
PP forum initially but pk forum these days..... Didnt think theres space for 2 Couttleberry's. I had to drop the 'H' from Bhindi for this forum... some dastardly imposter had already swiped it.. such is life...
I have only had a look at the Magellan at the Wokignham show a few weeks ago - thought it was a nice tent and certainly looked well made, when I had a poke the usual weakspots etc.
