We just bought a Royal Narbonne 5 For £99 (end of line, can't get them any more sorry) But would only be comfortable for two kids and two adults, even though rooms are tall and roomy. We found height to be important, it's a lot easier getting dressed eating etc when you can stand up. Room layout dictates what type of tent. Do you want them the other end of the tent from you? (vis a vis) We wanted to keep our adventurous 3 year old close but in her own bedroom so bought side by side, with a larger family if you're comfortable with them being a little furthe away satellite configuration gives you a lot of room. Dome for strength though if you're not planning on winter/mountain camping tunnel will do fine.A porch awning sounds like a luxury but makes a big difference transitioning from outside to inside when it's raining also keeping stuff dry when transferring to and from car. Best advice go to lots of camping centres with outside displays you can see what suits, how good the quality is and they often have clearance bargains.
Phew that was a long one, sorry!
