I purchased a Sunncamp Voyager 3XL from http://www.e-awnings.co.uk/ last week, in readiness for going away this weekend with just my two boys.
I'd done a quick search on here and didn't find much (probably wasn't searching right though) but went for it anyway, as it has a HH of 3000 and was only £34.50! (admittely P&P is extra but still a good price).

I got to Fforest Fields on Saturday night and as I hadn't had time to practise putting it up, it went up like a dream (Thank you to the lady and her other half for offering to help me that was so kind, if you're reading this :))

I was really impressed with the quality of the tent, and the space. Admittedly it really IS a 3 man, if you had 3 burly men in there there wouldn't be much space to move but for an adult and 2 kids it was perfect. Using the side door means the storage area in the porch is ample.

We're still looking to replace our main family tent, and although I'm still dithering over a Wynnster Pegasus I'm wondering whether I ought to take a look at Sunncamps range.

Anyway I thought I'd post about the tent, in case anyone else wants a view on it or is looking for a small tent.

We have recently purchased a Pegasus 5, as a weekend tent.  Only had it for 6 weeks and its done 6 trips.  I recommend it.  It has a really light and spacious living area and many design features which have been thougt through.  The only downside is it does look a bit camp - thank god its not pink.

Hi
Thanks for the reply! I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions for me about the tent? Do the outerdoors also have a mesh layer so that they can be open to let air in but not midges etc?
I know the bedrooms do but when we saw the tent at a display we stupidly didn't look and I can't find any info about it. Also, the groundsheet isn't a SIG (which I'm not too bothered about as our current one isn't either) but I'm led to believe it attaches somehow to the poles to creat a snug fit?
I agree with the way it looks, I can't quite put my finger on it but something is holding me back, not sure what
Thanks!
