 had the same problems with OH last year, managed to convince her to try it, eveing during the thunder storms last year with 2 little grand daughters, Guess what, SHE has just bought a new tent for this year, she bought it I paid for it. So go for it Girl, you will enjoy it trust me, I',m also ex army and we know what we are talking about, ask the hubby.

10 years ago I thought my OH had flipped at suggesting we go camping but at the ripe old age of 44 we are still loving it . Go on give it a try--- you will probably be surprised how much you will enjoy it..honestly, you will.......

HI THERE. ITS THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD. SO RELAXING. I DIDNT KNOW MYSELF IF I WOULD LIKE IT BUT HEY YOU CANT STOP ME NOW. I LOVE NOT HAVING TO MESS WITH HAIR STRAIGHTENERS JUST THROW IT IN A BOBBLE. NO MAKEUP AND DRESSED CASUAL  I NOW WOULDNT MISS IT FOR ANYTHING WE SIT ROUND THE FIRE AT NIGHT WITH A BEER AND JUST RELAX WE NEVER HAVE EHU AS ITS GREAT NOT HAVING TELLY AND THE KIDS JUST FINDING SOMETHING  TO AMUSE THEMSELVES. GET PACKING ENJOY

Even if you do get wet think of the laughs you can have in the future at watching hubby put everything away....
It never gets like that you Always survive.......
I dunno next your wife will be booking ukcampsite meets and not telling you.....lol

You will love it go girl, in fact i bet hubby is the first to moan!!!!

hi all

best thing since sliced bread i only started camping in the last three  years cant wait for next trip there has to be something said about not hearing televisions, load music, mobile phones , traffic , horns blaring , and i can go on be at one with nature listen to the birds watch the kids make up games to play like we did when we were kids. go for it girl i bet when you come back you will ask were do we go next. happy camping
