Hello Craig
I have pasted across some tips below that we found very helpful from this site. Our first attempt in the back garden took about 2 hours! There are some instructions sewn into the bag which you can also view on the vago website. Getting someone in the tent as you raise the poles is a good idea and you just need to be careful not to put too much stress on the poles as you raise it up. Hope this is helpful and good luck with your new tent.
Regards
Kay
When pitching the inner:-
Keep the bedroom doors zipped.
Dont extend the poles to full length before inserting into sleeves, as it makes it very difficult to get them aligned easily. Just do to about half way, insert then fix as you go.
Get someone to go inside the main door and raise the poles in the middle. This will help them bend and not stress them too much. It will aso make it loads easire to get the pins into the poles.
When pitching the outer:-
Each of you hold the outer at oppositer bedroom sides. Then just walk it over, dont waste time throwing it over, you'll just end up with back ache.
Then when staking out, loosen the straps (the black things with hooks on) and stake the hooks. When ready tighten the straps to achieve a lovely tight outer. Don't overtighten or you'll potentially mess up the seams.
