Hi could any one please let me know of any tips to stop the condensation on the inside of the tent driping on to my fly sheet?
This only seems to happen on certain weather conditions and when it does happen it rolls off the fly sheet and splashes through the mess window into our faces whilst sleeping!
Its only happened the once for us tho, after an increadibly hot day when the temperature dropped rapidly. (so much so my ears felt like ice!).
I now take a hoodie away with me because at least then my ears will be warm and the splashes hit the hood, not my face!
If anyone does know a way to stop this tho, pls let us know!
The only thing you can do is keep the tent as well ventilated as possible. keep the vents open at night. Don't cook inside, especially later in the evening.
Condensation is a 'fact of life' with polyester tents unfortunately. Good ventilation, especially if there's a few of you sleeping in the tent, will help solve the problem...
...Oops, sorry 'Beefysmum' has already mentioned ventilation. I really should read all the posts!...
