Just a thought, maybe you have the tri space if its a 700, maybe referring to a 7 berth? The tri space has a bedroom each end of the lving area, and the bi space has just the one bedroom and a living area. Try the search for instructions, it's pretty quiet on here tonight, but I'm sure someone will be able to help tomorrow.
Hi We've had the Bi-space 700 - now sitting unused as we now have the Monty 6.
The only instructions we had (that I remember), were some very small ones printed on the side of the tent bag. We used to thread all the poles in (colour coded on the tent too), then raise the central area (?2 black poles?), after that in no particular order the other 3 (grey, yellow and red from memory).
We only used one bedroom and had the other as extra living space and on hot days had all 3 doors open. As we are two adults and 3 children we had out-grown using just one bedroom but had got used to the extra space - hence why we bought a new tent.
I'm having trouble putting up my new my BiSpace 500. The instructions sent by Coleman (see earlier posting) are not much better than the sewn in version and the problem I have is... at step 7: " ... push the pole up into an arc (it will feel quite heavy as all the other poles and fabric will be supported by it)...", the pole breaks!
Has anyone found a decent a description on how to erect this tent without damage, which pegs should go where and in particular which pegs go in all the different loops and eylets around the groundsheet of the inner tent?
When raising poles that form a cross over a central dome area, it is best if one person goes underneath to lift them up into shapes whilst the other person goes around the outside attaching the pole ends - this lessens the strain on the poles and reduces the chances of breaking a pole.
I have only just brought the bi space or weekend camping as i have just purchased a Hartord Xl for week camping so have only put the tent up in the garden once but after a bit of fiddling around managed it what i found was that you have to put one of the long black poles the one that sits on the top of the crossover was best as it has less weight on it into the tapes that have two eyelets them while i held that hubby walked the other pole inwards forming the arc and then put that into the eyelet the only thing i will say this bit was quite difficult and on one of the poles i had to help him aswell when we done that i used the other eyelet and put a peg in so that the whole tent didnt take of and that then gave a good basis for pegging the rest of the tent out we then put the other poles in to form the bedroom compartments we then went round and put a peg in all the loops on the flaps this we found did not let any rain in the tapes inside hold the inner bedroom comparments and you can tighten then or loosen then to give the correct shape to the inner tent hope this is of help if you need any other help get back to me but i am in no means an expert on this tent we did ind it good though left it up in the recent thunder storm to see how it faired and it did really well.
