should be ok to start with, but don't be too surprised if you find yourself buying something a bit bigger next year if you decide to carry on with camping!!

there is myself,hubby and 3 kids and we found a six berth got too cramped with all the gear you need.

Have fun, if the weather is good you only need to be inside tent to sleep!!

I think it will be fine as a beginner tent but I agree with Karen, above, you may find that you want to buy something bigger next year.

We only used our first tent once as we found it too small, we sold it on and bought a bigger one.

I'm sure in this weather you wont be inside it very much anyway

We bought Vango 500 last year.  Using it this year (now on sale at £89).  Next year we may be upgrading.

emso, Lichfield are a well known and established brand so your tent should be fine. Enjoy your holiday.

Jan is right - my sis had a huge Litchfield tent and it was fine for years - you will find though , when you compare it to other brands that it is  "no-frills" make, and when you begin to see which "frills" ( like bigger windows, better ventilation, power point entry) are important  to you, as other have said you may wish to upgrade.

But I think its probably a fine starter tent - now you just need to rest of the kit to go with it!!
