Hi Folks ..  Tony Wild has one listed for sale as nearly new. It would be worth a call to see if he has the instruction sheet that you can get a copy of.

Here's his link......  Good luck

hi togs

ive not seen your type of tent

but i would sugest building the roof of the frame tent then adding the legs at half their height. you may have to bend them as tho they are kneeling

pull the canvas over the frame and line up the corners and reinforced parts.

go in side the tent and lift to full height one leg at a time or two together id there are two off you

close the doors and if everything looks ok start at the back anf peg out keeping everything straight etc

if you don't get the frame right  it might be the joining spider poles just look at it logically and you will soon get it right

when you have  it right colour code the poles with insulating tape for next time

most frame tents are best errected back to front as the front may have a canopy which will be the last poles thro

the other way ( if its dry) is to lay the canvas on its roof and match up the pole lenghts with the reniforced canvas this will give you the basic shape

turn the frame over and pull over the canvas

have fun

Hi togs and welcome to UKCS. The steps given by trailerintow are about right - that was exactly myroutine when I had a frame tent many years ago. You may well find that the relvant poles are already connected with metal spring clips, so I would suggest that you start by getting the poles out and see if any are already attached together. If they are then clip those together to see if their shapes give you some clues as to which bits are roof and which bits are supporting legs. You MAY also find some poles of a smaller diameter, and some poles which are extendable - these may be for a kitchen area, and if you have other bits that are the same diameter they could be a porch extension.

Have you got a picture of this tent that you could post on here - being able to see the finished item would help us to give you a more educated guess!

When we got our second hand Raclet tent it didn't have any instructions. We got in touch with Raclet at the above number and they sent me all we needed. Unfortuneately, the instructions were from the 1970's and were photocopies of black and white instructions. They were almost impossible to read, but had good pictures which helped alot.

There is also a Raclet owners club online. Sorry, I do not know the web address, but if you google raclet owners club it comes up there. They have been very helpful in the past.

Have just followed up on kpw1's good idea about the Raclet owners club, and guess what? They are listed here on UKCS in the company section. Here is a link to the page that lets you send an enquiry to them by email, HERE

It has got to worth a try to see if there is an owner of this model out there who can help you out. Good luck togs!
