They are very similar, but the hartford isnt quite as big.
If you need the full capacity, to sleep 9, go fort the Diablo, but if you want a better chacge of fitting on your pitch, go for the hartford, which sleeps 6 comfottably.
Another option is the hartford xxl, which has 4 x 2 man pods, but otherwise is still smaller than the Diablo. It has the advantage of a back door that can be used without having to go through a bedroom.
The diablos have a bigger porch, but you can get a fantastic porch extension ( a bit like a gazebo, but tunnel shaped ) that fits onto the front of the Hartford, massively increasing the living space, especially if the weather is bad. This does give you a tent which needs a 10 m x 10 m pitch, but you would need this anyway for the diablo. The hartford needs about 8m x 8m.
In the end, they are very similar, both good brands.
Weve avoided the Diablo, purely because its a little bigger than some pitches. We have the canopy for our Hartford xl, which we can choose not to use if the pitch is a bit small.
Hope this helps, as we were in the same dilema a few years ago. We will probably change to a hartford xxl next time, so our 3 kids get a bedroom each, and we have a more usable back door. Its only a few cm bigger than the XL and still smaller than the Diablo 900.
