Hi

Remove all tent pegs with the exception of the front 2 corner ground sheet ones by the front door.

On dropping the tent leave the large front door open, remove the leg poles but leave the roof poles insitu.

After a few minutes virtually all the air will have gone out of the tent.

Remove roof bars. By leaving in the 2 end peg's, this allows you to pull the tent from the bedroom end - tight.  You then fold in to a perfect half.

Hook the (grey peg straps from the bedroom onto the pegs at the front. Again this allows you to pull it tight and fold in half again).

Fold in half again ( you have now folded 3 times)

Remove final 2 pegs.

You can now slowly roll the tent.  (this needs to be kept quite tight and while 1 person rolls the other person keeps the ends tucked in to keep the roll as narrow as possible.)

It might take 2 rolls to get rid of all the air so you may find halway through the first roll , you unroll it and start rolling again.

With the above process it should fit in the bag easily.  Good Luck, ours works everytime now.

We have the Montana 6 as well and we love it. We bought it so we could go to sites that won`t take our Nebraska XXL, plus the Monty is easier to pitch for a couple of nights than our other huge monster.

We have had a few poeple comment on how nice the Monty is and it does arouse interest. I don`t think you would go wrong with one.

I just bought a Montana 6 from D W Camping down in Chichester and I'm really impressed.  Not only is the tent brilliant and, as the guys down there said, really easy to pitch. I took there advise and got a tarpauline to put under it to keep the groundsheet cleaner and dryer and having just used the tent and the pitch being a bit muddy I'm glad I had it.

I definatly recommend the Montana 6 especially with the canopy and if you want great advise and service go and see D W Camping

Top tent and Top service when buying

Hi,

Just joined the site and have purchased a new montana 6.

Very impressed with it so far but would like to know the correct way for fitting the side porch.

We have it up and all seems ok but the two plastic cups that the porch pole fits into seem to push into the side of the tent.

Is this correct or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks in anticipation

Hi Chris,

Where about's in Chi are they? I had to order my Monty 4 from Yeomans as couldn't find anywhere round that had them in stock. Thinking of getting the canopy as haven't got one yet.
