A screw in peg for the dog lead and a windbreak so you can screen him off, in case he decides to bark at every one who passes the tent might help.
We put our baby on the airbed with us, we don't like sleeping bags, so put an opened out sleeping bag under us and a duvet over us, but our baby slept in bed with us at home too, so we never had any problem with it.
I'd take the bigger tent. A dog and new baby plus all the babys gear will take up more room.
Will you have Fun? it'll be hilarious. You know you love camping already, you'll have a great time.
Use the yellow search button at the top of the page, put in Babies, and Dogs, theres loads of useful tips there from previous questions.
