that's right, at the end of the day you will find it at around 220 - 230.  If it is much more or much less then check carefully what u are getting.  Make sure u are getting th 2006 model.

I've yet to see a tent that I'd prefer to the '600'. Paid £215 for mine last year.

The main difference in the 2006 model is the side door in the porch area. If you're not fussy about that and are offered a good deal on a 2005 model then go for it. The side door can make it easier to get in and out when it's raining, but if you end up with as much equipment as we do in the porch area, then you wouldn't be able to use it anyway

Only saying get the 2006 model as we have the 2005 model and, had I realised the diference (side door in porch and a more fixed groundhseet in the porch - I think you can fold it up the sides and fix it in some way) I would have been willing to wait and pay the few extra pounds.  2005 model still wonderful though.

We have the Royal Biarritz 6 which is almost the same as the Diablo but it has an extra pole in each bedroom. This gives more space/headroom etc and prevents the "sagging" that has been reported with the Diablos. We paid £169 from World of Camping

We had a Diablo 600. I didn't realise we had saggy bedrooms until I joined UKCS. Never a problem for us.

CathW2 - it seems to be the rear bedroom on the 900 that has the permanent saggy problem. In my experience any saggy bits on the 600 can be corrected by adjustment

As I write I'm waiting for man and van to deliver our new 900. We're only a family of 4 but we like our room and we are going to put all our bags etc, in the back bedroom, so I can't see that will be a problem.

Well they do say ignorance is bliss.

Until you've tried the joy that is the Royal Biarritz 6 you'll never know about the joy of spacious bedrooms, discuss........
