oh forgot to add, i have also learnt to put my combicool fridge on an even surface and dont put my heater on top of it !!

learnt that my wife really enjoyed the first family camping trip in our new tent.

had I known she would go for tent holidays before, I would have done this alot sooner and we would have been away more often.

I also learnt that in 10 years of holidays in hotels and the like, staying in a tent without electricity was the first time I have been able to detatch from work and turn off.

In short I learnt it is a great way to unwind!

we learnt to make sure you actually take the stoppers for the air bed!! Last year I left them on the work top at home, after a very uncomfortable night we made makeshift stoppers with play dough and lids from  drink bottles!!!! It was okay for the 2 nights we used them, but not sure they would have lasted much longer.

This year I completely lost the stoppers!!! Managed to get spares from a camping shop.....our backs are saved!!
