hi coynie ..and welcome to ukcs i cant comment on the strike6but friends have the ventura 500 and it is i very good tent well made with a good hh(hydrostatic head)for water resistance it performs well in snotty weather for them ...hopefully someone will be along soon to advise on the wynnster happy trails
