Hi, we just bought a Monty 6 and had it out for the first time 2 weeks ago. it rained for a day and the tent was as dry as... ours was on ebay brand new for £329 with free p&p so yours seems cheap

I've noticed that most Montys with faults or for that matter any outwell goods seem to come from Yeomans... we had two windbreaks with rips and a Monty 6 canopy with a hole... our friends had 5 Monty 6 side canopies from them and still aren't happy....

our tent was from Event Essentials down south and was complete and perfect first time out the box. I've noticed with Yeomans that a lot of there products aren't in the original packaging which leads me to believe that people have tampered with your purchases prior to you....

I agree with the previous posts - I can't praise the Monty 6 enough! We bought ours second hand from Ad-mag for £230 including the extra canopy and it has had a bit of a battering weather-wise with no problems at all. If you've got the time it is a good idea to visit camp shows and make a note of all the tents you like, and then wait for the first one to come up in the ad-mag. OK, so you're taking a bit of a chance, but as long as you see it up before you buy it you could save yourself a fortune.

I've been doing plenty of research on which 6 person tent to buy. Just found a supplier that's selling them for £270.00! Collecting mine tomorrow!!

I going to Yeomans in Northampton tomorrow ...... and looking at an Outwell tent!!

Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence about the store but will interrogate the salesperson until I get the info I want!!!
