Hi all.

I am looking into buying one of these tents, Royal Garonne or Outwell Hartford XL.

We like the idea that the Hartford has a sealed ground sheet but we also want as much room as possible in the bedrooms, and on the one photo I have found the Garonne looks to have a little more head height in the bedrooms.

If any Garonne owners read this I would be really really grateful if you could show me any photo's you may have of this tent, in particular of the inside. I have found loads of info on the Outwell but hardly anything on the Royal, and with the Garonne being cheaper it is quite tempting, but I need more info and images. Nobody near me here in Portsmouth appears to stock it unfortunately.

Thanks.

Hi, I think that the fact that you are having problems getting info and stuff on the Garonne, but plenty of stuff on Outwell tells you a lot! Outwells are a bit more expensive, but you really do get what you pay for in the camping world. Outwell are a good company making good, tried and tested tents. I know that I am biased because I own one, but I honestly do believe that your best move is to buy something that is tried and tested and that has plenty of info around. But at the end of the day it is you choice. Choose wisely is my advice!
Have fun!
