Hi , I have just purchased a new  9 berth dome tent, I have camped for years & have allways had a frame tent, I still have a very large cabanon frame tent. Anyway to get to the point, we put our new tent up yesterday & to be honest we found it very uncomfortable in the living area, plus I couldnt imagine where all my cooking stuff & other gear table ect would go do they have to go outside ? dont get me wrong the new tent is lovely & so easy to pack & carry around its just the living area dosnt seem very livable :-(   any advice would be greatly appriciated. :-)

We do all our cooking outside. I'm just to accident prone for it to go anywhere near our tent.

Our tent has a large porch area that some people use for cooking but weve always used a gazebo. I'm going to buy a day tent instead this year.

We tried a modern (tunnel not dome) tent a couple of years ago, but after one 5-day holiday sold it & bought a Cabanon frame tent - never looked back since.

Frame tents are quicker & easier to erect, brighter (lots of windows), far more stable in bad weather & less flappy than synthetic tents, and you can cook inside too. My advice? Stick with the Cabanon

 We have been naughty & gone & bought a lovely new outwell hartford tent that has loads of walkabout living space & it has a huge entrance porch that would make a  brill kitchen area, It looks lovely & felt great inside .

 Cant wait to try it, We are off this weekend, will let you know how we get on.
