Another thing to think about is does your tent have a sewn in groundsheet (SIG) ?
If it doesn't, then your sleeping area should. The main living area of our tent doesn't have SIG, so when it gets chilly, we move into the sleeping area, taking the portable telly ( just a 7" LCD one mind you !!) drinks etc. (obviously you need to organise things so you can be comfortable)
As our sleeping area has a SIG, we find that this warms up quite reasonably and isn't too bad for when we want to go to bed.
Try it and see how it works.
