Me again full of questions tonight got the vango 900 with sig was wanting to put some kind of flooring down so with kids toys chairs etc we dont get any rips any one any ideas thought about the breathable ground sheet you put in caravan awnings like green with holes in any other suggestions pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I used a couple of old thick curtains and a picnic rug in ours plus a piece of tarp under little nannies camp bed. Lovely terracotta carpet, they worked a treat and stopped the wind from lifting the sig.
Fantastic Nicola 1972. I have just about stop laughing about the underlay. I can just see the campsite owners faces when all these campers turn up with rolls of underlay. I think they might get alittle worried!!

Everyone brings happiness to my life, some when they arrive and some when they leave.
We just use carpet samples under our chairs/table etc they are about a mtr square so easy to move around to where you want them & you can pick them up from any carpet shop for free or almost free
We use a couple of old throws my daughter had when she was at uni. They protect the sig from chair legs etc and keep the old feet warm. Just put them in the washing machine when we get home, all ready for the next time.
twyn i think for living room you really mean"the great hall and banqueting room"
on a serious not if youhave a diablo 900 have you thought of getting a fitted diablo 900 "footprint" groundsheet this is useful as placed ontop of the sig inside you will be keeping the main floor clean and on harder ground if you pitchfootprint first then the sig it protects against sharp edges of stones.we have just got one for the aspen fr outdoor megastore (ours £25.00 + p+p)go have a look
